Program
Individual Educational Therapy
This one-on-one educational program is for students who have been
identified through educational testing to have learning problems.
Educational therapy offers an individualized program for each student
designed to stimulate deficit areas of perception, basic skills,
and cognitive problem solving. The goal of the program is to develop
independent and successful students. Additional tuition is required.

ESP Program
(Extra Study and Practice)
The ESP Program is small group instruction for students identified
by the teacher as needing additional instruction in reading and
writing. The program is designed as a short-term intervention for
students in grades 1-4. Entrance into the program is based on number
of student openings and the severity of need.

Math
Plus Program
Math Plus is small group instruction for MS junior high students
(6th - 8th grades) scoring below 6th grade level in initial math
placement testing. The goal of the program is to determine areas
needing instruction or review, and to help students to develop learning
strategies and confidence in their ability to do mathematics.
LEXES
Program
(Learning EXperiences for Exceptional Students)
The LEXES Program is small group instruction for students with exceptional
academic abilities and/or interests. Presently, MCS offers an advanced
reading program for Kindergarten and 1st grade students.
